Between July and January, steady northeast trades cross the village from late morning to sundown. Eight months a year. This is what built Jeri's kite culture.
Greener months.
February through June bring softer winds, warmer water, and the surrounding dunes briefly green. The crowds thin. The lagoons reach their highest.
